Javier Sumavielle

 

Javier is a Strategic Partner at TELAM where he focuses his efforts across the main business lines. He has more than 25 years of experience in Wall Street in sales and trading of Fixed Income Emerging Markets, Currency Trading, Equities, Commodities and other products. Born in Venezuela, Javier has an extensive track record and coverage of the Venezuelan, Colombian and Argentinian markets. He advises high net worth individuals, banking institutions and government entities in strategic growth opportunities and deal-oriented transactions.

Javier is a Managing Director at Forefront Capital Markets, a global financial services firm that provides alternative investment management, investment banking and capital markets services. Prior to his role at Forefront Capital, Mr. Sumavielle was a Director of Avila Capital, a US Broker Dealer specializing in Fixed Income Emerging Market and major Equities,

Currency and Commodities Trading. Additionally, Mr. Sumavielle was a Managing Partner and Head of Sales and Trading for the Fixed Income Emerging Market Desk at Pali Capital. He spent most of his career at Refco, a NY based financial services company, broker of commodities and futures contracts, he was a Senior Vice President and head of the Fixed Income trading and Emerging Markets.

Mr. Sumavielle obtained his Bachelor Degree and his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management from the University of South Carolina-Columbia.
